Drama is nothing new to music composer Amaal Mallik, but his recent altercation with fellow Bigg Boss 19 competitor Abhishek Bajaj has caused quite a stir.
The heated argument quickly became the talk of the town, and now Amaal’s brother, singer Armaan Malik, has stepped in to defend him — accusing the show’s makers of twisting the story through edited promos.
Armaan took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice his frustration over how the show portrayed Amaal. In a now deleted post, he wrote, “The way they edit promos to make Amaal look like he’s wrong and then hide how others are provoking and misbehaving, is actually insane. This show and its toxicity are exhausting. Never liked it, never will. Just praying my brother stays healthy and sane through all this.”
It was a heartfelt message from a protective brother, though he later decided to delete the tweet.
When a fan told Armaan not to let the negativity get to him, he replied honestly, “I am not used to this kinda negativity. Not my cup of tea. I just want my brother to be happy and healthy. Nothing else matters.”
The fallout between Amaal and Abhishek started when Amaal pointed out that Abhishek always gets defensive whenever someone talks about Ashnoor Kaur. Abhishek didn’t take it lightly and snapped back, which led to a tense argument.
Things got physical when Amaal pressed his forehead against Abhishek’s, and Abhishek responded with a headbutt — no hands involved.
Thankfully, fellow contestants Baseer Ali and Shehbaz Badesha quickly stepped in to prevent things from escalating further.
While many viewers seem to back Abhishek, the latest Weekend Ka Vaar promos suggest that Salman Khan will have a serious word with him for his aggressive reaction.
Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 19 began with 16 competitors, including well-known figures like Kunickaa Sadanand, Ashnoor Kaur, and Gaurav Khanna. There are now 14 people left after multiple evictions, with Shehbaz Badesha joining as a wildcard. Fans are kept captivated week after week by the house's constant drama, emotions, and surprising turns.
