Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri is gearing up for his highly anticipated The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of the upcoming film. However, the filmmaker has recently created a buzz among the fans with his latest social media post.

He took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account and wrote, “So many of you have shared your thoughts on the name… The Delhi Files or The Bengal Files?” He concluded his post by teasing, “Well, I have an update. But not just yet.. stay tuned.”

The makers have previously created a buzz among the fans with an intense and thought-provoking narrative teaser of the film. The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter teaser provided a glimpse into the film’s emotional depth.

The teaser gave a first look at veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty’s character as he walked through an empty corridor. He channelled a rugged look for his character, sporting a white beard. He recited the Preamble to the Constitution with a burnt tongue in the teaser.

The film also features Pallavi Joshi, Anupam Kher, and Darshan Kumar, among others, in the pivotal roles.

The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter revolves around the Bengal tragedy and promises to shed light on a forgotten chapter of Indian history. The film promises a stirring and unforgettable cinematic experience. The film is a part of Vivek’s Files trilogy that includes The Kashmir Files and The Tashkent Files.

Penned by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Abhishek Agarwal and Pallavi Joshi, the upcoming film is presented by Tej Narayan Agarwal and I Am Buddha Productions. The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter is expected to hit the theatres on August 15.
