Vijay revealed he has received overwhelming love within a few years of his career, “I know that Indians around the world know me now. Maybe five or six years ago, nobody knew who I was; nobody knew my name. Now, I’m recognized and loved by people who have seen my work or seen me. It’s a feeling of immense satisfaction and, sometimes, an overwhelming one. But I’m blessed.”

Vijay further expressed how he has built a relationship with his fans, saying, “I’m blessed because I get to do what I love more than anything. This is what I want to do, and to be able to do it is a blessing. To be able to receive this love is also a blessing. I think I’ve earned more love than I’ve done the work, but it’s just a connection I have with my people—it’s a relationship we have, and I will always be grateful for it. I hope to entertain them and give them memories as we grow together."
