Swati can be heard saying in the video, “My mother is trying to be a cool mom, but it’s not happening. I recently had a tragedy with her after she found my vibrator. She came to me with full confidence and made me talk to her ‘as a friend'. She is definitely going to ask for my vibrator. She started calling it a gadget, a toy. I was like, ‘I swear, Mom, it belongs to Papa'. She said, ‘Don’t speak nonsense; I know his choice'. It was then that my mother brought it out and started asking me."

Swati's joke has reignited debates on comedy, its limits, and the fine line between humor and family boundaries.

Several netizens took to X as the discussion went on about swati's latest joke involving parents. One user wrote, "If Ranveer and Samay face legal action for their jokes, will Swati be next?" Another netizen posted, “These days, comedy means only using foul language and nothing else. Some people laugh at it. One person here on this platform told me that with time, comedy has upgraded. Is this an upgraded or degraded comedy?? Is this actually comedy?"

A user also reacted stating, "This is what comedy has become? Just vulgarity and cheap jokes?" A user also wrote, "Trying to be cool it's not at all acceptable."

On Friday, stand-up comedian Samay Raina appeared before Maharashtra Cyber regarding an obscenity case linked to social media influencer Ranveer Allahbadia’s controversial remarks. He had previously met with cyber cell officials on March 24 at their Navi Mumbai headquarters. Both Raina and Allahbadia, along with others associated with the YouTube show, are facing multiple police complaints.

The controversy erupted after a clip from India’s Got Latent, Raina’s viral YouTube show, went viral. In the video, Allahbadia posed an inappropriate question to a contestant, sparking outrage. Following the backlash, both Ranveer and Samay issued public apologies.
