Vicky Kaushal renews lease for luxury flat in Juhu, set to pay Rs. 6.2 crore over three years

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal has renewed the lease for his luxurious apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu locality. As per property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards via the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website, Vicky Kaushal’s monthly rent will start at Rs. 17.01 lakh. The three-year lease transaction was officially registered in April 2025.

Juhu is renowned as one of Mumbai’s most prestigious residential hubs, favoured by several Bollywood celebrities. The area is celebrated for its iconic beach, fine-dining restaurants, and excellent connectivity to key business districts such as Andheri and Bandra. Other celebrities like Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, and Shakti Kapoor also have properties in Juhu, according to Square Yards' analysis of property documents.

Vicky Kaushal’s leased apartment is located in Raj Mahal, a ready-to-move residential project. It spans a carpet area of 258.48 sq. m. (approximately 2,781.83 sq. ft.). The transaction attracted a stamp duty of Rs. 1.69 lakh and a registration fee of Rs. 1,000. The lease agreement also grants Kaushal exclusive access to three car parking spaces and required a security deposit of Rs. 1.75 crore.

As per the new lease terms starting from January 2025, the rent is fixed at Rs. 17.01 lakh per month for the first and second years, increasing to Rs. 17.86 lakh in the third year. Over the three-year lease term, Kaushal is expected to pay a total rent of approximately Rs. 6.2 crore. This renewal follows his previous lease agreement signed in July 2021, which had a starting monthly rent of Rs. 8 lakh.
