Fans were very excited about the GlobeTrotter mega event because director SS Rajamouli confirmed that Mahesh Babu will play Lord Rama in an important scene in his next movie, Varanasi, which is part of the larger movie project Globetrotter.
Rajamouli Says It's a Dream Come True
Rajamouli talked about how filming an episode based on the Ramayana, a story he has loved for a long time, was both emotionally and creatively important to him at the event.
"I've talked a lot about what the Ramayana and Mahabharata mean to me since I was a child, and making them has always been my dream project," he said. "I never thought I would get to shoot such an important Ramayana episode this early."

The director remembered the first time Mahesh Babu came to the set dressed as Lord Rama for a photo shoot.
"I felt like I was in the air. As soon as Mahesh walked in as Rama, I got goosebumps. He has Krishna's charm but Rama's calmness. "I even made that picture my wallpaper... and then took it down," he said with a smile.
A 60-Day shoot full of challenges
Rajamouli said that it took 60 days to film the scene, and each day brought new creative and technical problems.
"Every day was hard. Every episode and sub-episode felt like a movie on its own. He said, "Everything had to be thought of in a new way and planned again." "Getting through all of those obstacles and finishing it successfully is very satisfying. This will be one of the most memorable parts of the movie, in my opinion.
With Mahesh Babu's confirmation as Lord Rama, excitement for Varanasi—and the larger Globetrotter universe—has reached new heights, marking another milestone in Rajamouli's ambitious storytelling legacy.
