Gashmeer Mahajani joins the show Lakshmi Niwas; says, ‘My character is a contrast to the layered characters I've played before’

After the casting of Manasi Joshi Roy as Lakshmi and Rajendra Chawla as Srinivas, Lakshmi Niwas now features renowned actor Gashmeer Mahajani in a significant role as Aditya Sahu.

The upcoming family drama Lakshmi Niwas, set to air on Zee TV, presents a touching narrative grounded in the daily experiences of India's middle-class joint families.

The story revolves around Lakshmi and Srinivas, a pair who have lived in a rented place for 35 years while pursuing two cherished aspirations: creating their own home and ensuring their daughters' futures. As they finally start pursuing their dream, life takes unforeseen twists, challenging the strength of their relationship and the stability of their family.

Aditya is a self-reliant, grounded individual brought up by his stepmother after the early loss of his biological mother. Despite his affluent upbringing, he prioritizes connections over wealth. Perceptive, sincere, and emotionally attuned, Aditya instinctively grasps the feelings of others and exudes a soothing presence wherever he travels.
