TVF’s Panchayat’s Phulera becomes a popular tourist destination with a bike rider group organizing a trip to the village

TVF's (The Viral Fever) web series Panchayat brought a storm among the audience with its relatable storyline. The series received immense love introducing the audience to rural India.

The show Panchayat has drawn attention to rural India, especially the village where it was filmed. Inspired by the show, a group of bikers went recently on a ride to Phulera and invited others to join them.

Indore-based Mhow Riders Club has recently taken to their official Instagram account and announced their Ride to Phulera. They revealed in the caption that the bikers will be travelling to Mahodiya village in Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh, where Panchayat was filmed.

However, Panchayat was actually filmed in Mahodiya, located in the Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh. The village has received immense popularity among the audience with its portrayal in Panchayat. Several scenes from the show went viral on social media and became a meme, including the popular dialogues, Dekh Raha Hai Binod and Gajab Bejjati Hai.

Additionally, viewers recently drew a comparison between a real-life incident involving Chhattisgarh officials releasing pigeons on Independence Day and a similar scene from Panchayat 3.

For the unversed, Panchayat is a comedy-drama which captures the journey of an engineering graduate Abhishek, who for lack of a better job option joins as secretary of a Panchayat office in a remote village of Uttar Pradesh. Abhishek later started taking more interest in village politics, and developments and found a love interest.

Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the series features, Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Ashok Pathak, and Sanvikaa in pivotal roles. Chandan Roy has penned and starred in the series. Panchayat Season 4 is currently under production.
