While it was recently announced that Tabu will make her mark in the highly anticipated 'Dune' prequel series, titled 'Dune: Prophecy', the makers have now released the first teaser for the much-awaited Max series.
The teaser introduces viewers to the world of Bene Gesserit, set a staggering 10,000 years before the events depicted in the 'Dune' film. Tabu's presence remains elusive.
Reports suggest that she will portray Sister Francesca in the show, adding intrigue to her character's role in the narrative. Drawing inspiration from the novel 'Sisterhood of Dune' penned by Brian Herbert and Kevin J Anderson, the series embarks on a journey chronicling the exploits of two Harkonnen sisters as they confront existential threats and lay the foundation for the revered Bene Gesserit sect. The character is described as 'Strong, intelligent, and alluring, Sister Francesca leaves a lasting impression in her wake. Once a great love of the Emperor, her return to the palace strains the balance of power in the capital.'

With the release of 'Dune: Part Two' in theaters in March, the 'Dune' franchise has expanded with two successful films collectively grossing over $1.1 billion. Amidst this success, a third film is already in motion, signaling the enduring popularity and anticipation surrounding the epic sci-fi saga.
Alongside Tabu, 'Dune: Prophecy' boasts an ensemble cast featuring Emily Watson, Travis Fimmel, Olivia Williams, Mark Strong, Edward Davis, and others in pivotal roles. Scheduled for release this fall, the Max original series promises a compelling exploration of power, prophecy, and the intricate tapestry of the Dune universe.
