Trevor Noah returns as Grammy Awards 2025 host, ceremony to be held live in LA

Trevor Noah, the South African comedian, will return as the host for the 2025 Grammy Awards. This will be his fifth time hosting the prestigious event. The announcement came less than two weeks before the show, which is set to take place on February 2, 2025. The ceremony will be held live in Los Angeles, as planned.

Despite the ongoing wildfires in the area, which have caused significant damage, the Grammy Awards will not only celebrate music but also raise money for wildfire relief. The Recording Academy decided to continue with the show, and the broadcast will help fund efforts to support those affected by the fires. The telecast will also honor the brave first responders who have been working tirelessly to fight the fires.

Harvey Mason Jr., the CEO of the Recording Academy, shared that the organization is committed to helping the people impacted by the wildfires. He mentioned that they had already made a donation of one million dollars, which helped raise over two million dollars in emergency aid.

In addition to the main Grammy Awards show, there will be the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala, which is celebrating its 50th year. However, many pre-Grammy parties, including those organized by major record labels and Spotify, have been canceled due to the situation in Los Angeles.

Trevor Noah has expressed how much he enjoys hosting the Grammys, especially because he gets to witness the amazing performances up close.
