Thammudu OTT release: When and where to watch the Nithiin starrer
Nithiin's film Thammudu, which debuted in theaters on July 4, 2025, is currently preparing for its digital release. The action drama underperformed at the box office and garnered mixed to negative reviews, despite the high expectations. With its impending OTT release, the movie now hopes to reach a larger audience.
When and Where to Watch Online Thammudu Officially, Thammudu will launch on Netflix on August 1, 2025. Netflix India South made the announcement on social media. To reach a wider audience in South India, the movie will be streamed in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. "Thana lakshyanni, akkani thirigi thevadaniki ee thammudu is on a mission!" was the caption Netflix used when sharing the update. Thammudu is available on Netflix as of August 1.

Overview of the Plot Thammudu, which was directed by Venu Sriram, centers on Jai, a talented archer who is trying to find his long-lost sister Jhansi, who was taken from him when he was a child. An influential industrialist becomes enraged when Jhansi, a principled government official now, declines to accept a fabricated report about a fatal chemical explosion in Vizag. Jai returns to her life, determined to use his archery skills to protect her as dangers threaten her family. In order to protect his sister and her principles, Jai battles the corrupt forces in the action-packed story.

The cast and crew Nithiin plays the lead role in Thammudu, while Laya makes her Telugu film debut following her appearance in Amar Akbar Anthony (2018). Additionally, Apthami Gowda (of Kantara fame) appears in the movie. Bollamma Varsha, Saurabh Sachdev, Hari Teja, Swasika, Chammak Chandra, Temper Vamsi and others are part of the project.

This is Venu Sriram and Nithiin's first joint project. B. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music, and three well-known DOPs—KV Guhan, Sameer Reddy, and Satyajit Pande (Setu)—were in charge of the cinematography. The editor is Prawin Pudi. Thammudu gives viewers another opportunity to experience its intense action and emotional core on Netflix as it moves to streaming.
