British actor Mark Strong, best known for his roles in films like Sherlock Holmes and Kingsman: The Secret Service, is currently enjoying his first trip to India.
During his visit, he had the opportunity to reconnect with his Dune: Prophecy co-star, Bollywood actress Tabu. The two stars shared a delightful reunion in Mumbai, where they caught up over a meal, and both actors posted pictures from their get-together.
Tabu took to her Instagram on Saturday to share two warm photos with Mark Strong, showing them happily posing together at a restaurant in Mumbai.
In the caption, she wrote, "Javicco and Francesca re-unite!! @mrmarkstrong," alongside red heart emojis. The reference is to their characters from the Dune spin-off series, where Tabu plays Sister Francesca, and Mark portrays Emperor Javicco Corrino.
Mark Strong also shared a photo of their Mumbai meeting on his Instagram, praising Tabu for her beauty and talent.
In the photo, Tabu looks radiant in an off-white dress paired with a matching coat, accessorised with golden hoop earrings and a delicate necklace. Mark, on the other hand, looked sharp in a black shirt.
He wrote, “The glamorous beautiful talented Tabu and her biggest fan! Had a wonderful evening reuniting Francesca and Javicco.. @tabutiful #dune #duneprophecy #mumbai."
Earlier, Mark had shared pictures from his visit to Jaipur, where he explored the Amer Fort and Johari Bazaar.
He posted, "Enjoying Jaipur in Rajasthan. Amazing place and wonderful people! #india #indiapictures #travel." Tabu, ever the gracious host, commented, “Welcome to India," further emphasising the warmth of their friendship.
Tabu's character, Sister Francesca, was introduced in Dune: Prophecy during the fifth episode, which aired in India on December 16, 2024.
