Sushmita Sen penned a loving note for her elder daughter, Renee Sen, on her 26th birthday today (September 4). The actress celebrated the day by posting a number of old photos of Renee as a child along with more recent images of the mother-daughter trio, referring to Renee as "God's most precious gift."
Sushmita wrote a touching note for Renee on September 4, expressing her unending pride and love. Her caption read, “Happpyyyyyy Birthday my first love!!!! God’s most precious gift, that changed my life forever!!! May you receive in abundance the love & affection you so generously shower…May all your dreams manifest for the greater good!!”
She went on to encourage Renee as she steps into a new year of life, “This is YOUR year… bring it on Shona @reneesen47 I am forever Proud of you!!! Prepare… Perform… Prevail #partytime. Here’s to you my Beautiful child & the best Didi ever!!! WE LOVE YOU SHONA!!! God bless #duggadugga @alisahsen47 & Maa.”
In 2000, at the age of 24, Sushmita adopted Renee. She has frequently talked about the great joy and sense of purpose her daughters have given her, despite the fact that she chose to be a single mother during a period when it was less socially acceptable.
In 2010, ten years later, she adopted Alisah Sen, her younger daughter, to further grow her family.
Sushmita also shared a second post with more recent pictures of Renee, which added to her joyous mood. Complimenting Renee's personality and self-assurance in her caption, Sushmita continued to write, “Uffffff!!!! Attitude doesn’t compete… it SLAYS in its own lane!! Renee, meanwhile, is gradually establishing herself in the entertainment sector. She described her experience working as an assistant director on Vicky Kaushal's most recent film, Bad Newz, as invaluable.
She had previously received favourable reviews for her acting debut in the 2020 short film Suttabaazi. Renee has also worked in theatre, appearing in the production of Hidden Agendas.
