Sunjay Kapur, ex-husband of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor, has passed away after reportedly suffering a heart attack while playing polo at the age of 53 in the UK. According to media reports, the incident occurred during a match, and despite immediate medical assistance, he could not be revived.

Sunjay Kapur was formerly married to Karisma Kapoor, with whom he had two children — daughter Samaira and son Kiaan. At the time of his passing, he was married to Priya Sachdev.

The couple, who married in 2003, had two children together, but their union quickly deteriorated. After years of turmoil, Karisma filed for divorce, seeking legal custody of their children. In her divorce petition, Karisma made some chilling claims about her marriage, including the disturbing allegation that Sunjay had "auctioned" her during their honeymoon.
