Television actress Sriti Jha has penned an emotional farewell as her much-loved show Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye approaches its conclusion. The Zee TV family drama, which premiered on November 27, 2023, and crossed over 500 episodes, will soon wrap up, marking the end of a heartfelt journey for both the cast and the fans.
Opening up about the emotional departure, Sriti shared, “Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye has been a journey of 500 episodes filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. I might be able to be mature a bit later and say that it is what it is. Right now, it just breaks my heart to say goodbye.”
Reflecting on her character, Amruta, Sriti praised the show’s creators, especially writer Mukta Dhond, for developing strong and layered characters. She added, “My favourite thing is that Amruta Bhavani Chitnis continues to use her maiden name even after marriage. Virat Singh Ahuja has emerged as the greenest of flags. Bhavani Chitnis is a businesswoman. Babita Ahuja has found compassion in her heart without having to compromise on being feisty.”
Sriti also acknowledged the team’s resilience, saying, “It’s a credit to her and the team to have kept their morale high and continue to write and create despite the odds being against. Immensely grateful for the audience to have supported us. Your love has given us strength always.”
Her co-star, Arjit Taneja, who portrayed Virat, also reflected on his time on the show, calling it a deeply fulfilling experience. “I have felt fortunate working on Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye for the past one and a half years and being a part of the Zee Kutumb. Bringing Virat and Amruta’s love story to life has been a joy,” he said.
Arjit also mentioned how the show helped him grow as an actor: “The show gave me the opportunity to explore two distinct characters, each with their own emotional arcs and traits. It’s been an unforgettable ride, and I’m so grateful to have shared it with such a phenomenal cast, crew, and our wonderful fans.”
Alongside Sriti and Arjit, the show stars Kishori Shahane, Hemangi Kavi, Pratiksha Honmukhe, Pulkit Bangia, and Akanksha Chamola. As Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye nears its end, it promises a heartwarming finale and a happy closure for Amruta and Virat’s love story, leaving fans with cherished memories of a show that truly touched hearts.
