Sid Sriram, the versatile artist known for his genre-blending music, is bringing his "Sidharth" World Tour to Australia, with performances scheduled in Melbourne on May 27 and in Sydney on May 28.
The Melbourne concert, organised by Woodmark Events, will take place at the renowned Robert Blackwood Hall, located on Monash University's Clayton Campus. And the musical genius will perform at the iconic Sydney Opera House Concert Hall, located at Bennelong Point, as part of his Sydney concert.
Sid Sriram, celebrated for seamlessly combining classical Indian music with modern genres, has garnered a global reputation for captivating audiences worldwide. The soul-stirring vocalist's "Sidharth" World Tour has already seen sold-out shows across North America, the UK, and Europe, showcasing his exceptional ability to transcend cultural and geographical boundaries.

The tour is in support of Sid Sriram's groundbreaking album "Sidharth", released in August 2023 under Def Jam Recordings. Collaborating with acclaimed artists like Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and producer Ryan Olson, Sid Sriram has crafted 13 tracks that defy traditional genre boundaries. This album marks Sid Sriram's first full-length English-language project, blending elements of pop, R&B, indie rock, and traditional Carnatic music.
Each song from "Sidharth" offers a glimpse into Sid Sriram's musical journey, from his upbringing in Fremont, California, to his deep immersion in Carnatic music. Listeners are treated to a diverse array of musical experiences, ranging from the introspective lyricism of "Blue Spaces" to the infectious rhythms and vibrant energy of "Do The Dance" to the heartfelt narrative of "Dear Sahana." Each track leaves a lasting impression, showcasing Sid Sriram's versatility and artistry.
Born in Chennai and raised in Fremont, California, Sid Sriram's musical journey is influenced by both his South Indian heritage and American pop culture. His early training in Carnatic music, combined with his academic stint at Berklee College of Music, has equipped him with a diverse musical palette.
