The latest episode of Shark Tank India 4 featured a groundbreaking pitch by Raksheet Jain and Divyansh Mangal, founders of AIgnosis. Their Jaipur-based startup leverages AI to detect autism early and provide therapeutic solutions, aiming to revolutionize the autism diagnosis ecosystem. Seeking ₹50 lakh for 4% equity, the duo presented a compelling case for their brand's impact.

The sharks welcomed the duo with curiosity and praised the thoughtful name of their brand. Anupam Mittal questioned whether autism has been stigmatized, to which Raksheet responded passionately, "We are here to destigmatize autism. An autistic child can hone a skill so well if they aim at it." The pitchers elaborated on the risks of delayed diagnosis, but Anupam expressed skepticism.

Varun Dua, however, strongly resonated with their mission, sharing his personal experience with autism. "I’ve seen both mild and severe cases. Mild autism can often be normalized with intervention, but severe cases face delayed diagnosis because parents struggle to accept the situation. This leads to deep aggression and challenging behavior in children," he said.

The pitchers revealed that their journey began at Divyansh’s father’s childcare center, where they studied autism extensively. Their AI-driven solution simplifies the diagnosis process, aiming to bridge the gap between early detection and therapy. Despite concerns raised by Varun and Peyush Bansal about scalability and affordability, the duo defended their approach, emphasizing their mission to make diagnosis accessible.

Aman Gupta praised their vision and remarked, “You’re doing phenomenal work. If you solve this problem at this scale, the government should award you.” He also encouraged them to expand their expertise into related areas.

Ultimately, Vineeta Singh and Anupam opted out, while Peyush, Aman, and Varun extended offers. The final deal was sealed at ₹1 crore for 8% equity, bringing all three sharks on board.

AIgnosis’ pitch left a lasting impression, not just for its innovative solution but for its heartfelt commitment to tackling the challenges of autism. The episode highlighted the power of entrepreneurship to create meaningful social impact.
