Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput Kapoor celebrated her 31st birthday today, September 7 and hubby Shahid has the sweetest birthday wish for her.
Shahid took to Instagram on Sunday and shared a series of photos featuring Mira as well as one of the couple posing together and penned a long adorable note, expressing his love for Mira as he wished her on her special day.
Appreciating her presence in his life, Shahid wrote, "Happy birthday my love. You complete me. God wrapped you up in a little bundle of joy and saved you for me. And I am lucky to have you for the rest of my life. Be happy be healthy express yourself every chance you get …. In every way you like ….. may your radiance fill everything you touch."
One of the pictures, which appears to have been taken while they were on vacation, shows Mira sitting elegantly in a large field while wearing an oversized pink shirt. In another image, she is seated at a dinner table, calmly gazing directly into the camera. A second selfie, which adds a romantic touch, features Shahid kissing Mira tenderly on the cheek as the two of them pose by the scenic river.
Shahid and Mira tied the knot in July, 2015 in a private wedding ceremony. The couple have two children-daughter Misha whom they welcomed in 2016 and son Zain, born in 2018.
Shahid and Mira also celebrated son Zain's seventh birthday recently.
The couple often share glimpses of each other on their respective social media handles, giving their beloved fans regular sneak-peek into their day-to-day lives.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid is gearing up for his next project with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj.
The actor shared a behind the scenes photo with Vishal, teasing the film and announced the film's wrap up. The film will also star Triptii Dimri, Avinash Tiwarry, Nana Patekar, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal in crucial roles.
