The film is expected to be a grand project, with shooting locations planned in both India and Europe. It is being produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Shah Rukh Khan’s home production company, along with Marflix. During the Locarno Film Festival, Shah Rukh Khan spoke about King and expressed his excitement about the project. He mentioned that he had wanted to do a film like this for several years.
