Maahi, the son of legendary singer Shaan, has made his Bollywood singing debut with the film Nadaaniyan. He lent his voice to the song Tera Kya Karoon, which features Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor. The song is composed by the talented duo Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. This marks a significant milestone for Maahi, following in his father’s footsteps and stepping into the world of Bollywood music.
Maahi shared his excitement about the opportunity, reflecting on his journey and the inspiration he drew from his father. He mentioned how he grew up surrounded by the beautiful music his father created for Saif Ali Khan and now finds it surreal to be part of a similar journey himself. Singing for Ibrahim Ali Khan in Tera Kya Karoon is a special moment for him, and he expressed deep gratitude to Sachin and Jigar for giving him this chance. The song captures the essence of love in a heartfelt way, making it an emotional and significant debut for Maahi.

Interestingly, Shaan had previously been the playback voice for Saif Ali Khan in multiple films, and now, years later, Maahi is making his mark by singing for Saif’s son, Ibrahim. This generational connection adds a nostalgic and symbolic touch to Maahi’s debut.
Nadaaniyan is directed by debutant Shauna Gautam and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under the Dharmatic Entertainment banner. A special screening of the film was held in Mumbai, where Ibrahim Ali Khan attended with his sister, Sara Ali Khan. She later penned an emotional note for her brother on Instagram, expressing her pride and excitement for his big-screen debut.
The film is expected to have a grand release on Netflix on March 7, and with Maahi’s soulful voice in Tera Kya Karoon, the film’s soundtrack is anticipated to resonate with audiences. This debut marks the beginning of an exciting journey for Maahi in the Bollywood music industry.
