In the photos, Iqra, now a teenager, looked elegant in a pink floral kurta. Her skin tone, expressive eyes, delicate facial structure, and nose strongly mirror Nargis Dutt’s charm, instantly reminding Bollywood fans of the iconic actress. However, her lips seem to take after her mother, Maanayata.

Nargis Dutt, one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated actresses, passed away on May 3, 1981, in the US while undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer. Decades later, her legacy still shines through her granddaughter, who many say carries the same old-world elegance that made Nargis so beloved.

Sanjay Dutt, Maanayata, and their children have been residing in Dubai since before the pandemic. Initially moving there for business reasons, Maanayata’s ventures flourished, prompting the family to stay.
