After a limited theatrical run, this horror-comedy, filled with chaos and charm, is all set to haunt your screens from the comfort of your couch.

The Bhootnii is produced by Deepak Mukut of Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Sanjay Dutt of Three Dimension Motion Pictures. The film is written and directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, known for his unique storytelling style and genre-bending narratives.

Leading the cast is Sanjay Dutt, who plays an eccentric ghostbuster with secrets of his own. Joining him is Mouni Roy as the enigmatic and dangerously seductive spirit Mohabbat, alongside Sunny Singh and Palak Tiwari, who portray college students ensnared in a terrifying yet comical supernatural saga. Supporting the madness are Aasif Khan and popular YouTuber Nick (BeYouNick).

Set in the haunted campus of St. Vincent’s College, Delhi, The Bhootnii revolves around Shantanu (Sunny Singh), a heartbroken student who unwittingly awakens a vengeful ghost on Valentine’s Day. As bizarre events unfold, Baba (Sanjay Dutt) arrives with a mystical past and ghost-hunting gear—but is he really who he claims to be?

The film cleverly blends horror, humour, and emotional depth. As the night of Holika Dahan approaches—a time when spirits can break free—Shantanu and his friends must decipher Mohabbat’s tragic past and prevent further catastrophe.

Sanjay Dutt shared, “The Bhootnii was made with a lot of heart. Though its theatrical run was short-lived, I’m hopeful that audiences will now discover its charm on ZEE5 and Zee Cinema.”
