Saif Ali Khan's sister Saba Ali Khan mourns Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sunjay Kapur's demise

Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur, died on June 12 after suffering a heart attack while playing polo in London. He was 53. Soon after Sunjay’s death, news was revealed, Kareena Kapoor, with her husband, Saif Ali Khan, arrived at Karisma’s Mumbai residence to extend their support.

However, now Saif Ali Khan’s sister, Saba Ali Khan, has mourned the demise of Sunjay. She took to her Instagram Story and wrote, "Air India...and Sunjay. Shocking to see the news that followed."

She added, To a father and wife, son and brother, I can't imagine what it must be like for the families. My sincere condolences and strength, and support to them, especially the children. Can't believe it... still."

The initial reports suggested that Sunjay Kapur was playing Polo for his team, Aureus, against Sujan, a rival team owned by hotelier Jaisal Singh, when he suffered a heart attack in London. The reports also suggested that Sunjay accidentally swallowed a bee while riding, and a sting in his throat is believed to have triggered the heart attack.

The funeral of the late industrialist might be delayed due to legal formalities since he was a US citizen who passed away in the UK. His body will be brought back to India after postmortem and paperwork, and the last rites are set to take place in Delhi, according to Ashok Sachdev, Priya Sachdev's father.

Sunjay Kapur, who was the chairman of Sona Comstar, is survived by his wife Priya Sachdev, their son Azarias, as well as Samaira and Kiaan from his previous marriage to Karisma Kapoor.
