Days before the horrifying incident, Saif was spotted at the Mumbai airport with his daughter, Sara Ali Khan, in what turned out to be a heartwarming public appearance.

The Pataudi father-daughter duo melted hearts at the airport as they stopped to listen to a young fan perform an impromptu beatboxing act.

In a video shared online, Saif is seen attentively watching the young boy's spirited performance. Sara, too, stood by, cheering and engaging with fans who had gathered around. The warmth and humility of the moment were evident as Saif and Sara interacted with onlookers, with Sara even obliging for selfies. The highlight of the appearance was the tender goodbye shared by Saif and Sara. .

In the early hours of January 16, an unidentified intruder broke into Saif's Bandra home while the family was asleep. Confronting the robber, Saif sustained six stab wounds, two of which are serious, with one dangerously close to his spine. The altercation and resulting noise alerted others in the house, prompting the intruder to flee.

Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he is undergoing surgery. A team of specialists is operating on his injuries, and his condition remains critical. Police have filed an FIR and are investigating the incident, with CCTV footage being analysed to identify the suspect.

This tragic news has sent shockwaves through the film industry and among Saif's fans.
