Robinhood OTT release: Nithiin and Sreeleela starrer rom-com to make digital premiere on THIS date

Telugu actor Nithiin starrer latest rom-com Robinhood, is set to make its digital premiere soon after its theatrical release on March 28, 2025.

The film has elicited a range of reactions from critics and viewers alike. While opinions remain divided, its sleek visuals and high-energy performances have piqued audience interest and kept the buzz alive.

According to 123telugu reports, Robinhood is set to release on ZEE5 on May 2, 2025. However, the streaming platform has not confirmed the release date yet.

Headlined by Nithiin and Sreeleela, the movie also includes notable performances by Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, and Devadutt Nage.

Robinhood, which is set in the fictional village of Rudravanam, chronicles the ominous ascent of Sami (Devdatta Nage), a man motivated by global ambitions in the thriving marijuana trade. When Sami learns that Rudravanam grows a very uncommon and sought-after strain, he takes advantage of the situation by violently establishing control over the village and its residents, transforming the tranquil community into the centre of his illegal empire.

The events are made more intriguing by the mysterious return of Neera Vasudev (Sreeleela), the granddaughter of the revered village elder (Lal), from Australia.

Australian cricketer David Warner's unexpected cameo is one of the movie's most talked-about scenes. Warner makes a powerful impression despite having little on-screen time thanks to his animated facial expressions and powerful yet funny dialogue delivery.

With his flawless timing and wit, Vennela Kishore consistently provides comic relief, illuminating scenes. Although one wishes his character had been given more space to develop, Shine Tom Chacko plays a crucial part that deepens the story.
