Suniel Shetty’s daughter, actress Athiya Shetty, and her cricketer-husband, KL Rahul, have embraced parenthood with the arrival of their baby girl on March 24, 2025.

The couple has been overwhelmed with love and warm wishes from fans and loved ones ever since the joyous news was shared.

KL Rahul, the proud new father, has now opened up about his precious little one, and his heartfelt words are bound to melt hearts.

Just a day before the IPL 2025 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, KL Rahul was engaged in a light-hearted conversation with Sunrisers' all-rounder, Nitish Kumar Reddy, during a training session. Nitish asked, "How is your baby?" to which Rahul responded, "Good," with a smile.

When Nitish asked further, "Cute?" Rahul couldn't help but beam with pride, answering, "Cute. Obviously, I will say cute." He went on to describe how tiny his daughter is, creating an endearing moment that left everyone around him grinning.

Meanwhile, on March 28, 2025, Athiya Shetty shared a glimpse of a beautiful ritual setup on her Instagram stories, giving fans a peek into a special celebration.

The image featured two intricately decorated plates—one filled with flower petals and the other adorned with pink roses, vermilion, and rice, all traditional elements of Hindu ceremonies. The word 'aum' was inscribed at the top of the picture, adding a spiritual touch to the moment. Though Athiya didn’t specify the exact occasion, it is likely that the family was holding a traditional welcome ceremony for their new member.
