Riteish Deshmukh posts a heartfelt birthday wish for Akshay Kumar, calls him his 'Partner in crime

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is ringing in his 58th birthday today, (September 9) and the wishes have been non-stop. Among them, Riteish Deshmukh’s post stood out, not just because of their long-standing friendship but also for the heartfelt tone.

The two actors, who have shared the screen in the Housefull series, Heyy Baby and Entertainment, clearly go beyond co-stars. Taking to Instagram, Riteish dropped a set of throwback pictures from the making of Housefull 5.

The first frame shows the duo laughing together on set, surrounded by fellow cast members. He followed it up with casual selfies from their outdoor shoots and wrapped the carousel with a candid shot of Akshay in a white vest and blue jeans.

Akshay, meanwhile, marked the day with a deeply personal post. He shared a digital artwork featuring himself in the center, surrounded by some of his most iconic characters—almost like planets orbiting around him. “58 years in the making, 34 years in this industry, over 150 films & counting,” his caption began. “This is your journey as much as mine. My birthday is a dedication to all those who still believe in me. Love and prayers, Your Akshay. Jai Mahakal.”
