Amid ongoing buzz around his retirement, Arijit Singh has once again made headlines, this time for reportedly approaching the makers of Bhooth Bangla to sing its romantic track Tu Hi Dissda.
The film, which marks the much-awaited reunion of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan after 14 years, has already generated massive anticipation among fans. With its teaser receiving an enthusiastic response, the makers have been steadily building excitement through its music releases.
After the first track Ram Ji Aa Ke Bhala Karenge, the team unveiled Tu Hi Dissda, a soulful romantic number featuring Akshay Kumar alongside Wamiqa Gabbi. The song, sung by Arijit Singh and Nikhita Gandhi, has been receiving appreciation for its emotional depth and melody.
Interestingly, as per reports, Arijit himself reached out to the team at Balaji Motion Pictures and composer Pritam, expressing a strong desire to be part of the track. The source revealed that the singer felt an instant connection with the song and believed he could bring the right emotional nuance to it.

The film’s teaser has already taken the internet by storm, promising a blend of comedy, horror, and nostalgia. Apart from the lead pair, the film also features veteran actors like Paresh Rawal, Asrani, Rajpal Yadav, and Tabu, further raising expectations.
Backed by Balaji Telefilms in association with Cape of Good Films, Bhooth Bangla is slated to release in theatres on April 10, 2026.
