Richa Chadha celebrates Holi with throwback pics, says, "Enjoy and share the mirth"

Richa Chadha recently welcomed a baby girl with her husband, Ali Fazal. However, the actress has opted to stay with her seven-month-old daughter and ditched Holi celebrations.

Richa recently took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of photos and videos from the past years' Holi celebrations. In the series of photos and videos, she posed with her Fukrey co-stars. She also shared a photo with Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi.

Alongside the post, the actress expressed her disappointment of not celebrating the festival of colors with her loved ones. She wrote in the caption, “Happy Holi you guys!!!! Holi over the years with पसंदीदा people! This is the first Holi with baby, and one where I am not home… It’s a festival of love and joy, so be nice! Enjoy and share the mirth!”

Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha tied the knot in 2020 under the Special Marriage Act. The couple started dating in 2015 after they met on the sets of Fukrey. Although they kept their relationship private initially, they publicly confirmed it in 2017. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Zuneyra Ida Fazal, on July 16, 2024.

The couple has recently achieved a milestone success in their career as their home production, Girls Will Be Girls, has made India proud globally. The film achieved a historic milestone by winning the esteemed John Cassavetes Award at the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards, marking the first time an Indian film has received this coveted honor.

However, Ali and Richa have recently collaborated with directors Payal Kapadia, Jeo Baby, and actors Kani Kusruti, to produce a new Malayalam feature titled Guptam (The Last of Them Plagues). The upcoming film is written and directed by Kunjila Mascilamani.
