Noted actress Ramya Krishnan was on Zee5's Jayammu Nischayammu Raa chat show with Jagapathi Babu and talked about her friend and co-star Soundarya, who had died in a chopper crash.

Jagapathi Babu talked about Soundarya, a "common friend" they both liked, during their conversation. At first, Ramya smiled, but when a trailer from their 1999 hit movie 'Padayappa' came on, her face changed. She tried not to cry, but she couldn't control her tears.

Jagapathi Babu ried to console Ramya  when he saw that she was sad.

"We played that clip because we need to remember things like this." Her name, Soundarya, means "beautiful heart," and she had one.

"She Never Let Fame Change Her"

Ramya was really upset as she talked about her late co-star and tried not to cry. "When we were making Ammoru (1995), I first met Soundarya. We worked on a lot of movies together after that, like Padayappa. I observed a cute, innocent girl turn into a great performer. But what really moved me was how she never allowed celebrities to get to her. Ramya said that she was always kind and humble.

It was clear that Ramya was affected as old pictures and videos of the two friends played on television. She claimed that Soundarya was "a real friend and a beautiful person."
