Raghava Lawrence's Kanchana series has been one of Tamil cinema's most popular horror-comedy series, with four blockbuster films so far that have kept viewers laughing and scared.

There is already talk about the fifth movie in the series, and there is some surprise news: Rashmika Mandanna might be joining the cast.

Rashmika as a spirit?

Reports state that the actress from Pushpa has been asked to play a major role in Kanchana 4, and some people think she might play a ghost. If this is true, it would be Rashmika's first time playing a supernatural character in South Indian movies. But the people who made it haven't said anything official yet.

The movie is reported to include many famous actors, such as Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi, as well as Raghava Lawrence, who will also be directing it.

Since the first Kanchana movie, Muni (2007), the series has been quite popular. The next movies were Kanchana (2011), Kanchana 2 (2015), and Kanchana 3 (2019).

Next, she will star in Thama, a Hindi romantic horror comedy that is part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. Ayushmann Khurrana will be her co-star. She also has The Girlfriend coming up, which will keep her occupied with a variety of movies.

Lawrence's Full Schedule

Raghava Lawrence is also working on other things besides Kanchana 4. He is also working on Benz, a vigilante action thriller that will add to the Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe (LCU). The movie is said to have Ravi Mohan and Nivin Pauly, the latter of whom will portray two villains.

Fans are excitedly waiting for the official announcement from the makers about Kanchana 4, which is building up to be bigger than ever. Rashmika might also enter into the horror-comedy sector.
