Riddhima Kapoor Sahni gears up for her Bollywood debut

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, the sister of Ranbir Kapoor and the daughter of the renowned actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, is about to make her big Bollywood debut.

Riddhima is currently filming her first feature film in the charming town of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, and anticipation is already growing. Fans and industry insiders alike are excited about a behind-the-scenes photo from the shoot that has gone viral on social media.

The photo, shared by actor Manuj Walia, features Riddhima dressed in a cosy black sweater and matching trousers, seated comfortably alongside two children, who are reportedly her co-stars in the upcoming film.

The caption read, "My Nephew shooting with these beautiful souls and specially Ridhima. We are so Glad to meet you @riddhimakapoorsahniofficial. We are excited and now waiting for the release right after the shoot wraps up." The tagged location confirms the ongoing shoot in Shimla.

Speaking to HT, she confirmed, “Yes, I am filming a movie in the hills,” though she remained tight-lipped about the plot. “All I can say is that we are shooting here until June,” she added.

Interestingly, reports suggest that Riddhima may be sharing screen space with her mother Neetu Kapoor in this film, and comedian-actor Kapil Sharma is also rumoured to be part of the cast. When asked, Riddhima didn’t confirm Neetu’s role, but said, “She is there and enjoying the process thoroughly.”

As a proud member of the illustrious Kapoor family, Riddhima is stepping into a legacy steeped in cinematic history. With her brother Ranbir Kapoor already an established star, the excitement around her debut is palpable. “They are so excited. I keep sending them snippets of the scene and yes fully supportive - the best part is mom and I staying together and we rehearse our lines every day. Samara (daughter) is going to visit me once her school breaks for summer holidays,” she shared warmly.

While this marks her first full-fledged film, Riddhima has previously made her on-screen debut in the OTT space with Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives on Netflix. Now, she’s taking the leap to the big screen and couldn’t be more thrilled.
