However, Indira Krishnan, who is set to play Ranbir Kapoor’s on-screen mother Kaushalya, has recently shared more exciting and intriguing updates about the film. Indira revealed that the film has been shot with an incredible 86-camera setup.
During a recent interview with NDTV, Indira Krishnan shared inside details about the film’s shooting and VFX. She complemented the production house, Prime Focus, and the visual effects team for their challenging efforts to bring the vast cast in a single frame.
She recalled, “When I went for my measurements, they showed me this special machine used for VFX, the same one from Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. It involved 86 cameras, all flashing at me at once. I was totally zonked!”
She added, “It wasn’t just for costume fittings but for creating younger versions of characters through meticulous VFX. Even how Kaushalya walks or sits was carefully planned, with no room for drama.”
The makers have recently dropped the title announcement video featuring a captivating look at Ranveer Kapoor.
Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana features an ensemble cast, including Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol will portray Hanuman, Arun Govil as Raja Dashrath, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Ravie Dubey as Lord Ram’s brother Laxman.
