Reports of growing tensions between the Mega Family and the Allu Family have been making waves for some time now, despite their long-standing close bond. Recent events indicate a widening rift between the two families. Amidst this ongoing friction, social media is buzzing with fresh speculation—Ram Charan has reportedly unfollowed Allu Arjun on Instagram, further fueling rumours of a fallout between the two star families.
The situation took a turn for the worse following recent remarks by Allu Aravind, which did not sit well with Mega fans. He later clarified that his statements were not intentional.
A quick look at Instagram reveals that Ram Charan still follows all the actors from the Allu family, including Allu Sirish, but notably not Allu Arjun. This has further fueled speculation about the rumored rift between the two families. Fans are now debating whether this was a deliberate move or just a coincidence.
The controversy arose from a remark made by Allu Aravind at the Thandel event, where producer Dil Raju was also present. In a lighthearted moment, Aravind commented on Raju’s recent experiences, highlighting how he had seen both success and failure in a short span. He jokingly noted that Raju had an eventful week, referring to the contrasting performances of his films—one facing challenges at the box office (Game Changer) and another enjoying success (Sankranthi Vastunam). However, his statement quickly went viral on social media, with many speculating that it was a subtle dig at his nephew.
During a recent press meet, Allu Aravind addressed the controversy surrounding his remarks at the Thandel pre-release event, clarifying that his words had been misinterpreted. Without any prompt, he chose to explain that his comments to producer Dil Raju were never intended as a slight toward Ram Charan.
Aravind expressed regret that a personal and emotional issue had been turned into fodder for online trolling. He pointed out that the film in question had quickly regained momentum at the box office after a temporary dip and emphasized that any perceived dig was purely unintentional.

Reaffirming his close relationship with Ram Charan, Aravind urged everyone to move past the issue. “Charan is like my son. He is my only menalludu (sister’s son), and I am his only mavayya (maternal uncle). Our bond is strong, so let’s leave this matter behind. In hindsight, I realize I should not have brought it up at all.”
However, Neither Ram Charan nor Allu Arjun have spoken anything on this matter.
Meanwhile, Ram Charan was last seen in Game Changer, which hit theaters on January 10, while Allu Arjun starred in the blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rule.
