Bollywood actor Preity Zinta recently responded to criticism regarding her choice to conceal the faces of her children, Gia and Jai, in photos shared on social media. The actress, who is married to Gene Goodenough, celebrated Holi with her family and posted pictures from the festivities. However, some social media users questioned why she covered her twins’ faces with emojis.
A curious fan asked, “Why hide kids’ faces?” to which Preity Zinta politely responded, “I’m in the entertainment business, not my kids. So I’m letting them grow up normal and enjoy their childhood till I can manage. Uske baad, Rab Rakha (after that, God bless).”
Preity Zinta shared glimpses of her Holi celebration, expressing how special the festival was this year as she got to celebrate with her children. She wrote, “Rang Barse Holi was incredibly special this year cuz we got to celebrate with the kids. Here is a sneak peek. #HappyHoli #Weekend #Holi2025 #Ting.”
Apart from addressing concerns about her children, Preity Zinta also responded to a fan who asked whether she had any plans to enter politics. The fan praised her for her strong opinions and patriotism, saying, “You are truly a Soldier, Preity!! Hats off to you!! Just curious, any plans to join politics?”

Preity Zinta replied, “No! No politics for me. Over the years, various political parties have offered me tickets and Rajya Sabha seats, but I have politely declined as it’s not what I want.”
Preity Zinta, who moved to Los Angeles after her marriage to Gene Goodenough in 2016, has always maintained a balance between her personal and professional life. In 2021, the couple welcomed their twins, Gia and Jai, through surrogacy.
