Sanjay Leela Bhansali is about to launch his first web series, 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,' on an OTT platform. In preparation for its release on May 1, a glamorous preview event was held in Mumbai this past Wednesday evening. The event was graced by a host of Bollywood's finest, including Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt. Salman, known for his role in Bhansali's 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,' arrived in a casual black shirt and jeans, with high security in tow. Alia Bhatt shone in a white ethnic ensemble and was joined by her mother, Soni Razdan, and mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor. The trio happily posed for photographs. It's worth noting that Alia Bhatt received a National Award last year for her performance in Bhansali's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi.'

The 'Heeramandi' team was present too, dressed in their finest traditional attire. Celebrities including Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharmin Segal, an expectant Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Taha Shah Badussha, and Fardeen Khan stood out as they stylishly posed for the cameras.

Aditi Rao Hydari was accompanied by her fiancé Siddharth. Richa Chadha and Sonakshi Sinha were supported by Richa's partner Ali Fazal and Sonakshi's mother Poonam Sinha, respectively.

The father-son duo, Shekhar and Adhyayan Suman, who both feature in 'Heeramandi,' were also seen on the red carpet, donning traditional attire.

The event's sparkle was enhanced by the presence of several stars, including Ananya Panday, Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur, Shruti Haasan, Esha Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, Huma Qureshi, and Patralekhaa. The male stars who made an appearance included Vijay Varma, Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar, Randeep Hooda, and Zayed Khan. Veteran actress Rekha was stunning in a yellow saree, and the celebrity couple Sussanne Khan and Arslan Goni matched in black. Newlyweds Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat were also present, marking their attendance at the event.

'Heeramandi' promises a powerful line-up, featuring Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Segal among others, all contributing to the much-awaited drama set in a historical backdrop.
