According to Zoom, a source revealed that Panchayat Season 5 is expected to debut in the middle to late part of 2026, depending on the post-production schedule and final creative decisions. However, the makers are yet to announce the official release date of the new season.

Manish Menghani, Director & Head – Content Licensing, Prime Video India, also confirmed the fifth season and said, “We look forward to continuing the journey of Phulera and its beloved characters.”

Sanvikaa, who plays Rinki, added to the enthusiasm by confirming that Panchayat Season 5 is now under development.

Sanvikaa previously revealed, “The writing has started. We’re hoping to start shooting either at the end of this year or sometime next year. If all goes well, fans can expect Season 5 around May or June 2026.”

Panchayat was first premiered on April 3, 2020, followed by Season 2 on May 18, 2022. Then, on May 28, 2024, Season 3 debuted on television. With its June 24, 2025, premiere, Season 4 closed the gap somewhat and broke viewing records both in India and elsewhere.

Panchayat was created by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar. It is from the house of Arunabh Kumar’s The Viral Fever (TVF).

The cast of Panchayat Season 5 includes Jitendra Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi, Neena Gupta as Manju Devi, Raghubir Yadav as Brij Bhushan Dubey, Faisal Malik as Prahlad Pandey, Chandan Roy as Vikas and Sanvikaa as Rinki.

Durgesh Kumar as Bhushan Sharma, Sunita Rajwar as Kranti Devi, Ashok Pathak as Binod and Aasif Khan as Ganesh also star in the series.
