Nimrat Kaur is all set to make a strong comeback to the screen with her stellar role in The Family Man Season 3. The trailer of Prime Video's popular spy thriller series has been recently released, giving a glimpse at the actor’s performance.

Manoj Bajpayee is back as the legendary Srikant Tiwari, who is evading new enemies, Jaideep Ahlawat as Rukma and Nimrat Kaur as Meera.

Nimrat portrays Meera, a fiery character who is equally powerful, bossy, and fearless but also vulnerable. She achieves the ideal balance between the character arcs, leaving viewers eager to see what she has in store for the iconic Srikant Tiwari.

During the recent trailer launch event, Nimrat discussed how "Meera" differs from all of her previous roles.

She shared, “There’s nothing more fun than playing evil, and you don’t get to go to jail for it. That’s the best part. You can do whatever you want! And in their universe, you can really do whatever you want and get away with murder, plotting and have a great wardrobe while you do it -  in high heels, with flamboyance and sex appeal, and Meera is all about that! I find her to be evil, but in couture! It’s a girl’s dream!”

The actress also reflected on joining The Family Man universe and noted, “It is said that you don’t choose where you’re born, you don’t choose where you die and you don’t choose your family, but I get to choose my family this time around, and there couldn’t have been a better one!”

“It was mindblowing! I’ve had the best time, and as a fan of the show, the journey is a ‘bucket list’ thing. To watch something and admire the creation, the characters, the actors - there’s a lot of curiosity and intrigue. To be a part of that story is really the biggest and most thrilling experience as an actor. So, it feels great!” added Nimrat.

Playing Meera was "both thrilling and challenging, as I had to match the calibre and performative brilliance of Manoj and Jaideep_," Nimrat said, calling her role in the series "a dream come true."

At a fan and media gathering in Mumbai on Friday, the explosive trailer for the series, which was produced by Raj & DK under the D2R Films banner, was unveiled.

Sharib Hashmi as J.K. Talpade, Priyamani as Suchitra Tiwari, Ashlesha Thakur as Dhriti Tiwari, Vedant Sinha as Atharv Tiwari, Shreya Dhanwanthary as Zoya, and Gul Panag as Saloni are among the cast members who are returning.

The Family Man Season 3 will premiere on Prime Video on November 21.
