Here’s a curated guide to the latest releases you simply can’t miss.

Saare Jahan Se Accha: The Silent Guardians

Pratik Gandhi starrer this action-packed espionage drama that revolves around intelligence officer Vishnu Shankar, who fights to defeat his counterpart across the border in a battle of wits and tradecraft to prevent a nuclear threat. The series also stars Sunny Hinduja, Suhail Nayyar, Kritika Kamra, and Tillotama Shome in the key roles. Saare Jahan Se Accha: The Silent Guardians will premiere on August 13 on Netflix.

Alien: Earth

Noah Hawley’s TV adaptation of Alien (1979) is set two years before the events of the original film and follows Wendy and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers who make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet's greatest threat after a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth.

Alien: Earth is now streaming on JioHotstar with new episodes dropping every Wednesday.

Court Kacheri

This courtroom drama is set in India’s bustling district courts and revolves around Param, a young man born into a prestigious legal family. He tackles high-stakes cases in a chaotic, pressure-cooker environment. Court Kacheri is now airing on SonyLIV.

Butterfly Season 1

This high-octane spy thriller explores the story of a daughter raised to believe her father was dead must confront the truth when he reappears, urging her to quit her dangerous profession. Tehran

John Abraham starrer action thriller follows his character ACP Rajeev Kumar, a special cell officer caught in the web of political intrigue during a covert mission in Tehran following the 2012 bombing near the Israeli embassy in Delhi. This geopolitical thriller also features Neeru Bajwa and Manushi Chhillar in the key roles. Tehran will start streaming on ZEE5 from August 15.

Andhera

This psychological horror set in the rainy, neon-lit streets of Mumbai follows a fearless cop and a haunted medical student who are drawn together by a string of supernatural occurrences.

Produced by Farhan Akhtar, the series stars Bhavesh Patil, Surveen Chawla, Pranay Pachauri, Priya Bapat, and Vatsal Sheth. Andhera will release on Amazon Prime Video / MX Player from August 14.

Superman

James Gunn's Superman hit the theatres on July 11 and is all set to make its way to the OTT platform just after a month. In this reboot, Superman tries to reconcile his alien Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as reporter Clark Kent.
