Nikhil Dwivedi speaks on Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai amid divorce rumours, saying, "Humne Kabhi Alag Nahi Dekha"

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have recently been in the spotlight, with rumors of their alleged divorce circulating online for months. Amidst this speculation, actor Nikhil Dwivedi addressed the couple’s relationship, sharing his thoughts on their bond. Nikhil, who has known both Aishwarya and Abhishek for a long time, spoke about their connection and clarified the rumors surrounding them.

In an interview with Filmgyan, Nikhil Dwivedi discussed Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s dynamic while working together. He emphasized that they genuinely come across as a married couple. Nikhil said, "Shaadi shuda miya biwi hai toh miya biwi toh rahenge hi. Humne bhi unhe kabhi alag nahi dekha" [They are a married couple, so they naturally share the bond of husband and wife. We’ve never seen them apart either].

Further elaborating, Nikhil Dwivedi shared that both Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are highly professional and maintain a clear boundary between their personal and professional lives. He added, "If you're asking if they were any less professional, no, they were not. They were extremely professional, and yes, they were a couple."

Recently, when Aishwarya Rai celebrated her 51st birthday, no member of the Bachchan family posted a public wish for the actress, which sparked further speculation about possible tensions within the family. However, neither the Bachchan family nor Aishwarya herself have addressed the matter, and both have continued to maintain a dignified silence on the issue.

On the work front, Aishwarya Rai was last seen in the Tamil film 'Ponniyin Selvan: II', which was released in 2023. Since then, the actress has not made any official announcements regarding new projects. On the other hand, Abhishek Bachchan has several upcoming projects. He will next be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s 'I Want to Talk' and is also preparing for the release of 'Housefull 5' in the first half of 2025.
