Millie Bobby Brown and Sadie Sink starrer Stranger Things fans are eyeing Netflix’s Tudum event to watch the most-awaited trailer of the highly anticipated fifth instalment of the series.
However, a mysterious 30-second audio-visual clip is going viral on social media, which has sparked curiosity among the fans.
A clip was shared on X (Formerly Twitter) on May 30, just a day before the trailer launch. While the audio file is unclear and overlapped with several notes, like banging noises, radio static waves, it was shared with the caption, “THIS IS A CODE RED #TUDUM #StrangerThings5.”

However, a text notification appears in the clip, requesting to transcribe the file, but it ultimately displays "Can't transcribe message."
Fans were left baffled by the clip, with several asking if it was a hint of the season while some guessed that it was the voice of Vecna. One person said, “i bet that it’s the beginning of the chapter 1.” Another noted, “31 seconds? oh we are so getting it on 10/31.”
For the unversed, Stranger Things was created by Ross and Mike Duffer and first premiered in July 2016. The series later emerged as a massive success on Netflix. The series has been running for the past decade and is expected to end the franchise with the upcoming fifth and final season.
Alongside Millie Bobby Brown and Sadie Sink, the series also features Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Winona Ryder, David Harbour and Jamie Campbell Bower in the key roles and are expected to reprise their characters in Stranger Things Season 5.
