Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor fell in love and got married in 1980 and have been one of the most adorable couple in Bollywood. Recently, a throwback picture of their wedding invitation has resurfaced on the internet and fans cant keep calm over it.
Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh got married on January 23, 1980, at the iconic RK Studios in Chembur, Mumbai, in a grand ceremony graced by the biggest names in Bollywood.
In the wedding invitation it was written, "‘Mr and Mrs Raj Kapoor request the pleasure of your company on the auspicious occasion of the marriage reception of their son RISHI (Grandson of Late Mr and Mrs Prithviraj Kapoor with NEETU (Daughter of Mrs Rajee Singh) on Wednesday 23rd January 1980. Between 6-30 PM and 9-00 PM at R.K. Studios, Chembur, Bombay 400071.’
The couple have two children- Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Unfortunately, Rishi Kapoor passed away in 2020 after battling from cancer. Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with blood cancer in 2018 after which he left for New York to receive his treatment.

Neetu Kapoor recently took to her Instagram Stories to share a nostalgic black-and-white throwback photo with Rishi Kapoor, reminiscing about their engagement.

Alongside the photo, the actress wrote, “Was engaged on this day in 1979… time flies... " and included a sad emoji. The couple looked stunning as they smiled for the cameras.
For those unaware, the couple became good friends initially while filming on the sets of the 1974 film Zehreela Insaan and began dating soon after before getting married in 1980.
