Neena Gupta has always stood out for being real, fearless, and refreshingly honest — whether in her interviews, her fashion choices, or the little snippets she shares on social media. Recently, the actor gave her followers a glimpse of her everyday life while waiting at the airport, proving yet again why she’s so loved for her simplicity and candour.

Dressed in a chic black outfit, Neena sat in the airport lounge, speaking straight to the camera as though she were chatting with a friend. She revealed her tried-and-tested trick for surviving long waits: carrying a small tiffin of homemade roti rolls.

With a smile, she explained how she always packs them because she’s never quite sure what she might find inside the airport. Potatoes, paneer, onions, chillies — she listed off the fillings that go into the rolls, making them sound like the most comforting travel snack. She captioned her video with the cheeky line: “Shorts wali desi girl.”

But not everyone was as light-hearted. Among the many comments appreciating her post, one user chose to leave an unsolicited remark: “Very good ...only request dont show your legs ,they are not well toned ...we have never seen dadi mummy showing their legs this way ...ageing gracefully is excellent.”

Thankfully, other followers didn’t stay quiet. One person clapped back, writing: “What a demeaning comment from another WOMAN. Congratulations for being such a body shamer and being part of the problem.”

Neena herself handled it in the way only she can — sharp, unbothered, and with complete confidence. She replied: “Don’t worry. These people who talk like this are basically jealous that they don’t have such good body, so ignore.”
