How much is Nayanthara getting for next film with CHiranjeevi?

Star heroine Nayanthara is once again going to sizzle on the Telugu screen, re-joining industry senior Megastar Chiranjeevi for the upcoming film Mega157 on Tollywood grounds. Helmed by hitmaker Anil Ravipudi, the movie is likely to be a mass entertainer overlapped with comedy, energy, and stardom.

Finally, Ravipudi made Nayanthara’s name official as the leading lady for his upcoming film with Chiranjeevi. The quirky teaser that was officially announced recently has the actress talking in Telugu with her team, dancing to some chartbusters of Chiranjeevi inside a car, flipping through the script of the film and delivering one of the megastar’s memorable dialogues as she looks adorable and enthusiastic at the same time.

Ravipudi is seen in a small cameo towards the conclusion of the video, in which he introduces her part and lays a clear path to the enjoyment-laced roller-coaster ride, which Mega157 seems to be.

This is Nayanthara’s third film with Chiranjeevi after her notable turns in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather. Yet Mega157 will be another bee in the bonnet altogether. Unlike her previous intense characters, in this film she shows off her cheerful and spirited aspect, giving fans a new taste of the actress.

Ravipudi has crafted Nayanthara’s role as an enigmatic and contemporary one which will be seen in a different avatar like what audiences saw in the film’s teasers – light-hearted, comic and commercial.

How much is she charging?

Nayanthara is said to have been paid Rs 5 crore for God Father with Chiranjeevi and now, for the upcoming film, though she has quoted a higher price than expected, we have exclusively learnt that the actress is locked for a fee of Rs 7 crore and the entourage is also going be super costly.

Return of Chiranjeevi in a Comedy role

To add to the excitement, it is an all-out comedy by Chiranjeevi, the genre he dominated throughout the 90s and early 2000s. Laced with Anil Ravipudi’s mark-style mass/tabloid and ensemble cast narrative, there will be laughter, action and star-studded scenes galore in Mega157.

The filmmakers have already blocked festival release, Mega157 is slated to release during Sankranthi 2026. Ravipudi upholds the festive vibe in the promo with the racy statement: “Sankranthiki Raffadincheddham!”
