Nani's upcoming film HIT 3 collects $115,000 in USA ahead of release on May 1

Strong anticipation for the third installment of the HIT franchise is demonstrated by the spike in pre-release sales.

Telugu actor Nani 's latest film HIT 3 has begun performing strong as the advance bookings have begun. A week before its release on May 1, 2025, HIT 3's pre-bookings have already grossed $115,000 in the USA.

With $115,000 (roughly Rs 98 lakh) in advance sales, HIT 3 is already exhibiting encouraging results at the international box office. Almost 6,000 tickets have been sold at 300 venues and 789 performances, which is a significant increase from the $64,227 total it achieved three days prior.

Strong anticipation for the third installment of the HIT franchise is demonstrated by the spike in pre-release sales. The series, which has a devoted following, is well-known for its gripping narrative and well-written screenplay. Expectations have skyrocketed since Nani is now the main character in the movie.

HIT 3 earned million in the US alone, considering its extensive distribution and high marketing costs.

Given that the film's break-even target in the USA alone is a hefty $2.3 million, taking into account its extensive release scale and promotional costs, trade analysts in the US circuit note that the current advance trends are extremely encouraging.

In HIT 3, Nani plays Arjun Sarkaar, a top officer from Visakhapatnam who is assigned to investigate a string of grisly murders in Jammu and Kashmir, pushing him to his limits. The film is set to clash at the box office with Suriya’s much-anticipated Retro, both releasing on May 1.

Directed by Sailesh Kolanu and produced by Wall Poster Cinema, HIT 3 also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nani, Adivi Sesh, Srinidhi Shetty in key roles.
