Nani reacts to Suriya's Retro releasing on same date as HIT The Third Case, calls its a 'party' instead of competition

Telugu actor Nani, known as natural star is currently gearing up is HIT The Third Case. During the promotions of his film, he commented on the of HIT 3 with Suriya's Retro at the box office as they are set to release on the same date May 1.

Talking to the media at HIT 3's promotions in Chennai, Nani called the releasing of both films on same day as a 'party' and not a competition. "I don’t think it’s a competition, it’s a party. We are both coming to celebrate our films with all of you. Retro will definitely be the first choice for the Tamil audience, and rightfully so. I hope you have a great experience watching Retro in theatres because I have huge respect for Suriya sir, and I love Karthik Subaraj’s work. I am sure they are going to create some magic. It’ll be awesome. A great weekend can have two films," he said.

Nani also expressed that after audiences enjoy Retro, he is committed to delivering a memorable experience with HIT 3. He shared his hope that May 1 would be a day when films releasing across the country perform well and help bring audiences back to theatres.

Speaking to the media, Nani explained that he chose the name Wall Poster Cinema for his production company because, as a child, he frequently saw movie posters on walls before teasers and trailers were widely used. He would see these posters every day while he lived behind Hyderabad's Sathyam Theatre, which ignited his passion for films and eventually gave rise to the name of his business.

HIT 3 follows the story of Arjun Sarkaar, an SP with the HIT unit in Visakhapatnam, who is tasked with a high-priority mission in Jammu and Kashmir. His assignment is to track down a group of serial killers responsible for a series of brutal murders.

Written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu, HIT 3 also features Srinidhi Shetty, Surya Srinivas, Adil Pala, Rao Ramesh, and Brahmaji in key roles. It is produced by Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni under Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous Productions.
