After a successful theatrical run since its release on February 7, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's Thandel is now gearing up for its OTT premiere. Streaming giant Netflix has officially announced the film's digital release date.
Netflix India shared a poster of Thandel on Instagram and announced that the film is set to stream on the platform from March 7, 2025.
Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
Thandel follows the journey of Raju (Naga Chaitanya), a fisherman deeply in love with Bujji (Sai Pallavi). Just before their wedding, Bujji, worried for his safety, pleads with him to give up fishing. However, Raju dismisses her fears and ventures into the sea, only to be caught in a violent storm that pushes his boat into Pakistani waters, leading to his capture. The film explores his harrowing struggle for survival and his desperate attempt to return home.
