Taylor Swift thanks a fan for proposing at her concert, ‘That’s a big moment’, watch

A Taylor Swift concert sounds like the perfect place to declare your undying love for your partner and recently a couple did just that.

Many couples have proposed during her romantic songs and under the hazy stage lights but Taylor Swift herself has witnessed only a few moments.

In her concert at Edinburgh, Swift witnessed the magical moment herself.

While the people around the couple held their breath, the best part about the proposal was that Swift got to know about it and even congratulated them.

Taylor Swift was finishing her song, ‘Cardigan’ as she got wind of the proposal at Murrayfield Stadium. Suddenly, she had a huge smile on her face. She lowered her mic and announced to the crowd what she had just witnessed which made the stadium cheer super loudly for the couple.

“I love performing this entire show in the sunlight ’cause I’m pretty sure I just saw somebody get engaged over here,” she said.

To confirm what she saw, “Did it happen?,” she asked again. And the crowd excitedly said at once “Yes!”

She continued by revealing how she has never seen a proposal mid concert firsthand, “I never get to see that, right? ‘Cause it’s dark, usually, at night. But it’s not right now, so congratulations! Wow. I just saw that whole thing! Man, that’s amazing.”

In Edinburgh, Swift paused her concerts multiple times as the daylight made it easier for her to see the fans struggling in the stadium. She paused her medley of ‘Would've, Could've, Should’ve' and ‘I Know Places’ to help a distressed fan and waited till the fan got the necessary help.

“I need help right in front of me, please, right in front of me. Just gonna keep playing until we notice where it is. I’m just gonna keep playing ’til somebody helps them … We’re not gonna keep singing. We’re just gonna keep talking about the people that we help in front of me … Just let me know when. I could do this all night,” she said.
