Bebe Rexha says she gave ‘ungrateful loser’ G-Eazy his only hit number in a heated rant

Pop singer Bebe Rexha took to her social media account to slam rapper G-Eazy in a heated Instagram story. The ‘In The Name Of Love’ called him a “stuck up ungrateful loser.”

On her story, Bebe Rexha shared a screenshot of a group chat on iMessage where someone was asking her if she was interested in shooting social content with G-Eazy when she is in New York.

The singer wrote over the screenshot, “@g_eazy you have my number. Why don’t you text me and ask me yourself you stuck up ungrateful loser. You’re lucky people are liking you again. Cause I could go in on all the shitty things you’ve done and how you treated me after giving you your only real hit. Btw the answer is no. Hope you good.”

Shortly after posting the story, the singer deleted it and went on X to clarify that her team asked her to delete the story.

“Someone from my team had me take down my Instagram story. I decided to remove it because it felt very negative and toxic. Sometimes trauma can lead us to react that way, and that period of my life was traumatizing. I am writing this because I regret taking it down and I want to say that I still stand by what I said,” she wrote.

The duo previously collaborated on G-Eazy’s album titled ‘When It’s Dark Out’ for the track ‘Me, Myself and I.’ The song went on to become a smash hit and G-Eazy’s second-highest charting single on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 7.

It isn’t completely clear what Rexha was specifically referring to but this isn’t the first time her and G-Eazy have faced problems. The rapper had performed their collaboration with Britney Spears at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards without Rexha’s knowing.

She said, “I showed up at the awards and imagine you’re part of a song, and then I was just there and in the audience and they didn’t even let me know, so all I hear is, ‘Woo, it’s just me.’ And it’s on stage and I wish I would have known out of respect from G. But then I got a picture with Britney so I was happy.”
