Actress Mrunal Thakur joined the Ganesh Chaturthi 2025 celebrations on August 27 and welcomed Bappa at her home. She shared pictures of her festivities on Instagram.
In the pictures, Mrunal is seen exiting from her car with a beaming smile on her face while holding a gorgeously decorated Ganpati idol wrapped in a saffron cloth.
The actress radiated festive elegance while wearing an ethnic ensemble with silver accents and pastel pink embroidery. The actress complemented her traditional outfit with a delicate nose ring and bold earrings.
Mrunal penned in the caption of the photo, “Bappa’s homeee, nothing feels more special than this. Every year when Bappa comes home, it feels like he brings a little extra light and peace with him. And um, sooo many modaks incoming hehe.”
In another pic, the actress is seen holding a plate full of freshly made modaks, the sweet treat that is thought to be Lord Ganesha's favorite, in another picture.
Mrunal appeared thrilled as she posed with the festive offering, wearing a broad smile and a joyful expression. The warmth and spirit of Ganeshotsav were aptly captured in her post.
On the work front, Mrunal was last seen in Vijay Kumar Arora's Son of Sardaar 2, opposite Ajay Devgn. Despite having a stellar cast that included Ravi Kishan, Kubbra Sait, and the late actor Mukul Dev, the comedy entertainer did not make a significant impression at the box office following its August 1 release.
The actress now has a promising lineup for the coming months. She will next be seen in the upcoming romantic action movie Dacoit, which is slated for release around Christmas 2025. The film will also feature Adivi Sesh.
She will also appear in the romantic comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai with Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde.
